about Siobhan Lake Photography

I moved to Canada from England in 2011 with my husband and daughter (Aoife), and since then we have come to make it our home. The birth of my second daughter Carys both inspired and enabled me to start up my photography business, an ambition of mine for as long as I can remember.

Lifestyle photography is not only my passion but also very important.

My aim is to capture the special moments with you and your family in home surroundings. It can be a momentous occasion, such as welcoming a newborn, or the simple joys of everyday life.

Having recently completed the #365 project that documented my family’s day-to-day life, I can look back through the gallery of photos and cherish moments that I would have otherwise forgotten. Life goes by so quickly, especially with children, so being able to capture it through the lens leaves you with a little time capsule, which you can treasure forever.

Relax and enjoy your time with me whether it’s a posed newborn or lifestyle session. As a mum of two young children and former teacher, I have extensive experience working with little ones. I am patient, creative and knowledgeable, enabling me to capture natural smiles in a comfortable setting.
